THANK YOU LETTERS FROM VARIOUS CHARITIES
This message refers particularly to the incredible support that the Archer Fans have give Refuge in January 2026.

Dear Adrian,
I hope that you are doing well!
On behalf of everyone at Refuge, I wanted to say a huge thank you for choosing to dedicate all your January donations to us, and for raising an incredible £2,351.
As an expression of our gratitude to you and the Archers’ fans, please find letter of thanks for your incredible fundraising. I have also posted something to you – so keep an eye for that if it hasn’t already arrived.
I can see that donations are still coming in steadily since the end of January. I want to reiterate our heartfelt appreciation of your continued support (it is almost 6 years since you first started supporting us!). It is truly because of fundraisers like you that we can continue to support women and children in their toughest moments.
As one of our most valued fundraisers, I would love to share updates about Refuge with you. This would be a quarterly newsletter, which contains news and developments at Refuge. Please let me know if this is something you’d be interested in!
As always, please do let me know if you have any questions about your fundraising or Refuge. I am always here to help!
All the very best,
Maddie

This charity was sponsored by Mr Day Garwood, and he is the one who should have received this letter and that thanks expressed. But of course it is the people who have donated to this charity that should deserve the biggest “Thanks”.

Dear Adrian,
On behalf of everyone at New College Worcester, I would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for your outstanding support and for the incredible amount you have raised for NCW. Raising a total of £3,612 to date is a truly remarkable achievement, and we are immensely grateful for your dedication and generosity.
Your efforts will make a significant difference to our students, helping us to provide vital specialist resources, equipment, and opportunities that support young people who are blind or vision impaired to thrive, grow in confidence, and reach their full potential. Support like yours has a lasting impact, and we cannot thank you enough for the time, energy, and commitment you have given to our cause.
I have enclosed a copy of our Winter Newsletter, which gives a small insight into life at NCW and shows how support like yours makes a real and meaningful difference to our students and wider school community.
I would also love to do some PR around your fantastic support and fundraising achievement. If you would be happy for us to do this, please do get in touch with me via email, as it would be wonderful to help share and celebrate your contribution more widely.
Thank you once again for your exceptional contribution and for being such a valued supporter of New College Worcester. We are incredibly grateful for everything you have done.
With sincere thanks and best wishes,
Emma Williams
