I have to pay for ‘bandwidth’ which is what allows visitors to download podcasts, but once this monthly limit is exceeded, it simply crashes the website until it re-news at the start of each month. That is when you will see a notice saying “Account Suspended”
If there are more that a couple of days left until the end of the current month, then I am forced to increase my bandwidth allowance so that you can access the site! The more podcasts and visitors I have, then the greater the demand and this needs to be shared fairly by everyone. If someone decides that they will grab all the podcasts, then my site will go down and I will have to pay more money, and the other Archer fans will be inconvenienced!
I can’t continue to endlessly increase the bandwidth, so if the website crashes in the future, then it will have to stay that way until the start of the new month…
Please don’t be the person to crash my site!
THIS SITE WAS AGAIN BOUGHT DOWN BY SOME SELFISH PERSON ON THE 10TH OCT BECAUSE THEY CHOSE TO USE ALL THE BANDWIDTH DOWNLOADING AS MANY PODCASTS AS POSSIBLE. THEIR SELFISHNESS MEANS THAT I HAVE TO, YET AGAIN, INCREASE MY BANDWIDTH PACKAGE, AT MY COST, TO BRING THE SITE BACK ONLINE. IF IT HAPPENS AGAIN THEN I WILL LEAVE THE WEBSITE DOWN UNTIL THE START OF THE NEXT MONTH WHICH WILL DEPRIVE A LOT OF INNOCENT PEOPLE THE PLEASURE THIS SITE BRINGS.
