WELCOME TO THE ARCHIVE

Catch up with The Archers

Welcome to my independent archive for Archers fans. Whether you’ve missed an omnibus, want to revisit an old storyline, or simply enjoy listening again, the archive contains episodes dating back to 2009.

I started the archive to bring pleasure to fellow Archers listeners. Since 2019 it has also become a way for us to raise money for some very worthwhile charities.

ARCHERS FANS MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Listening for a good cause

Since I introduced annual password access in 2019, visitors to the archive have helped raise more than £40,000 for charity.

I don’t receive the donations. They are made directly to the charities through JustGiving using the links provided on this website.

ACCESSING THE ARCHIVE

How do I get a password?

In order to receive a password, you need to make a donation of £10 or more to a charity of your choice — through this website.

There are several ways to do this. You can click Supported Charities in the menu at the top of the page and use the Donate button for your chosen charity.

Alternatively, while browsing any of the podcast pages, find a month featuring a charity you would like to support and click on one of the podcast dates to go to the donation area for that particular charity.

Please remember these two things

1

Donate through this website

You must use one of the donation links on this website. This enables the system to send the automated email containing the current password.

2

Provide your email address

Make sure you enter your email address when donating. Without an email address, there is nowhere for the password email to be sent!

Minimum donation

£10

All of your charity donation goes to the charity.

A note about JustGiving

JustGiving may suggest an additional contribution of around 10% to support the operation of its platform. This is separate from your charity donation and can be manually changed, including to zero, if you prefer.

A PERSONAL PROJECT

The story behind the archive

This website isn’t a commercial service. It is a personal project that grew from my own enjoyment of The Archers and from helping other listeners catch up with episodes they had missed.

Maintaining an archive going back to 2009 takes both time and money, but seeing people enjoy it — and particularly seeing how much Archers listeners have raised for charity — makes it enormously worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who has listened, donated and helped make the archive what it is today.

Best wishes,
Adrian

This campaign is sponsored by Peter Robertson who is keen to bring to our attention this charity that has meant so much to him. Any cancer is horrible, but if you have been affected by blood cancer, or know anyone close to you who has, then please consider supporting this charity with your donation.

This is what the charity has to say...

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.

Benefiting Fans and Charities alike...
SO FAR YOU GUYS HAVE DONATED
just over £36,000 as at the end of 2025!

I put my time and money into creating this website for just 2 reasons... Firstly so that YOU, the Archer's fans can enjoy listening to all of the storylines since the podcasts began, and secondly, so that a few good causes can benefit from your generosity via a donation to their charities.

I am asking you to donate £10 or more to one of the charities in exchange for receiving this year's password. I appreciate that means digging deep into your pockets, but I believe that not only do the podcasts bring pleasure, but there is also pleasure knowing that you are helping someone else. ALL OF YOUR MONEY goes to the charity and is paid through the JustGiving portal, nothing is paid to me but I do get a great deal of pleasure knowing that I am bringing some happiness to fans and charities alike.

Remember... Your donation brings others HAPPINESS!   Happiness

WARNING !
A picture tells a 1000 words. Serenata Flowers delivered this appalling bunch of flowers literally by throwing them over our garden gate for me to discover on the wet path a few hours later. Within minutes of seeing the embarrassment that they had sent, I had thrown them in our garden waste bin!

Kim wrote this to me… “I had 2 very close friends who died of cancer and I spent many hours at their bedsides. The end of life nursing provided by Macmillan is quite extraordinary.” I imagine that this is a feeling echoed by many.

I am asking you to donate £10 or more to one of the charities in exchange for receiving this year's password. The story-line about Rob & Helen certainly focused our minds on mental and physical abuse, but sadly it's not uncommon and the lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 have made this dreadful situation worse today than ever before.

Refuge is a United Kingdom charity providing specialist support for women and children experiencing domestic violence. We all know the Rob and Helen story-line in the Archers, but this is for real!
